Join the Surfrider Foundation to help clean up Rudee Inlet on International Coastal Cleanup Day! Last year we picked up nearly 800 lbs of trash out of the inlet! Let’s see if we can do more this year. This event is a fun and muddy time where we take boats and kayaks to reach the shorline and back parts of the inlet.
We are partnering again with the Rudee Inlet Foundation and Virginia Aquarium for this event! Blue Ridge Mountain Sports will also be providing kayaks for participants to use FREE so we can get to all those hard to reach places in the inlet. Feel free to bring your own kayak or paddle board too. We will also have motor boats to ferry people around the inlet to different areas. Remember to wear close-toed shoes, old clothes, and prepare to get dirty! We will provide gloves, bags, and reachers/grabbers.
Owl’s Creek Boat Ramp is located at 701 General Booth Blvd, Virginia Beach, VA, 23451
