Seismic Survey Testing in Norfolk!!

The federal government has announced plans to conduct seismic testing off the Atlantic coast. The surveys are intended to assess potential oil and gas resources and set the stage for future offshore energy development. For more background, please see Surfrider’s Not the Answer blog.
Next week, the Dept. of Interior is hosting a series of public meetings to solicit input, including a meeting in Norfolk, VA on Tues, April 24 at 1pm and 7pm at the Hilton Norfolk Airport 1500 N. Military Highway, Norfolk VA 23502.  Let’s get out there and show the government that this is NOT THE ANSWER!!!!
